Troop 59 was formed under the sponsorship of Greenbrae Management in Greenbrae, California in March 1955. We meet two Wednesdays per month from September to June for Troop meetings, and typically have two to five outdoor activities each month. Our activities include overnight campouts, afternoon hikes, community service projects, an annual ski trip, rafting, spelunking, kayaking, and week-long stays at Camp Marin Sierra each summer.

Each summer we also go on at least one big trip. In past years, we've climbed Mt. Shasta, gone on 50 mile trips on the Pacific Crest Trail, Mt. Lassen, the Lost Coast, and along the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River in Yosemite National Park. We've camped in the High Sierra, and in 2002, 10 boys spent two weeks in Costa Rica. You may view photos from some of these events on the photo pages.

For more information, please contact the webmaster, and plan on attending one of our troop meetings or maybe joining us on an outing. Thank you.
