In the Eagles' Nest
On February 17, 2015, Michael Greendorfer became an Eagle Scout. His journey started ten years ago when he joined Cub Scouts and then bridged over to Troop 59. At the time Michael eagled, he had completed over 75 nights of camping, hiked over 30 miles, logged in more than 70 hours of community service and earned 40 Merit Badges! He was elected to the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s national honor society, participated in the week-long National Youth Leadership Training program and received the Messenger of Peace Award. Michael planned, organized and led his peers and adults in a major re-landscaping project in the front of Rodef Sholom, his synagogue for his Eagle project. It took a great deal of coordination and effort and the results are beautiful. Michael is currently a Junior at Redwood High School. Congratulations, Michael for earning the highest rank of Eagle Scout. May palms be in your future!
