Henry W. Coe State Park Campout 2022

The Flaming Arrows Patrol had a fun overnight backpacking trip at the Henry W Coe State Park the weekend of November 11, 2022. The day started somewhat warm and then got cold after sunset. It was nothing that a nice campfire and warm sleeping bags couldn't remedy. Hiking included searching for the nearly 100 year old ruins of an old hot springs resort, Madrone Hotel. Located deep within an overgrown canyon, the remains of the foundation and entry stairs were found along with the walls of an old stone creekside cabin.
