Congratulations, Joseph!

Please join us in congratulating Troop 59’s newest Eagle Scout, Joseph Mulcahy!

Joseph joined Troop 59 in 2012 after earning his Arrow of Light in Pack 59 and has held several leadership positions in the Troop – most recently, he was Assistant Senior Patrol Leader.

From his first rainy campout with the Troop at Camp Herms, to backpacking Pt. Reyes and attending summer camps, Joseph has been an active Scout. Most recently, Joseph joined Venture Crew 333 this past summer to tour England, including Brownsea Island, the American Cemetery in France and Kandersteg Scout Centre in Kandersteg, Switzerland.

Joseph’s Eagle Scout project helped St. Anselm School by building a large planter box and fixing the broken doors to a garden tool shed at the school.

Outside of Scouting, Joseph plays piano and has had lessons since he was eight. He regularly volunteers with the church by feeding the homeless. Joseph has had a lifelong love of aviation and airplanes and will pursue that passion in college next year.
